so many comments on that tweet showing Asia with few flights while US is rammed with flights, calling it FAKE and when looking on flightradar24, I would agree its fake as FXXX.

I would assume it includes all commercial craft including cargo (exempting military). However many older planes without updated tracking technology are essentially invisible to their system (many old cargo planes). I see no mention on their app about cargo except a blog note that feb cargo traffic was down 4%.

Yeah, looks fake, but she’s correct that’s what you see on the Planes Live app. They claim it’s passenger planes only. Looks more like poor data.
Still the flight radar is showing a lot of planes, even if some are cargo.

one of the UK news channels ran a story about the airline downturn and showed passenger planes being used for cargo, with all the seats full of boxes, so possible also that some are passenger planes with no passengers.

The term "herd immunity" should just be replaced by "herd death".

Fortunately it's not just the "herd" dying, but some notables as well, or this plan could continue...

This was the state of Singapore two weeks ago (Prime Minister canvassing for votes for a planned upcoming election in a local hawker center, around March 22nd, distributing hand sanitizer). No social distancing nor masking visible.

Two weeks later the country is in semi-lockdown...

China is just the victim of its own media, as usual. You can't trumpet that the coronavirus fight is largely over and the Party has successfully contained it without expecting the population to become complacent. Friends there tell me the mood there is now greatly relaxed, and masks are becoming available again as fewer people are buying them in bulk. Especially in places that saw comparatively few infections / deaths like Shanghai, there was not much psychological scarring and therefore an easy return to "business as usual" mentality.

That’s brilliant. If airlines are being forced to fly empty planes to keep their routes, then load them with cargo.
