My wife and daughter were in the Peru flight. Before anyone asks, no, they didn't go there for tourism - her family is Peruvian and she ran there after our building had two confirmed cases. Then shit got bad there and they had to come back.

The seats on the plane were distanced from each other (plane was not full). My wife told me that everyone got tested at the airport already, and everyone spent 24hs at Asia-Expo. Of the 200 passengers, 5 returned positive and were isolated immediately, together with everyone who sat next to them and their families.

Worth a read... a 14 year old, isolated at quarantine facility.

My dad was in the hospital after contracting Covid-19, and my mum and I had been moved to Chun Yeung Estate as we are considered "close contacts" of my dad. We were meant to stay there for the next 14 days, which is the incubation period of the virus.

After a few days, my mum developed symptoms, and we got the result that she was positive too. I was swiftly moved to a smaller, more sterile room, while my mum was whisked away to the hospital. All of these events took place within the span of 36 hours.

Nice, they got Wifi. Geoexpat will be in trouble if they ever quarantine me.

The plight of the poor and unemployed facing the outbreak made worse by an uncaring government again:

Why isn't the government providing shelter for the homeless?
