    Scheme 1: 45% discount on June’s fees
All ESF fee paying families are able to opt in to receive a 45% discount – per student – on their fees in June.
This scheme is not open to any families who have already received fee remission in full, or have their fees paid by a public body such as the Hong Kong Government. Those who have their fees paid by a private employer are eligible to receive the discount.
Parents will shortly receive a message from their child’s school asking them if they want to opt into the fee discount scheme. It is important that parents reply to that message on or before 7 May in order to receive the fee discount.

    Mainland restrictions extended...

Just in: the restriction on mainland arrivals will be extended for one month until June 7, health minister Sophia Chan announced. Exemptions given to cross border students and teachers, and those engaged in production or economic activities beneficial to HK.

Does June 7th apply to "mainland" arrival only or is this extension for "general" immigration that bans any non-residents coming through the airport and land crossings? Does it look like the floodgate at the airport is going to get opened on June 7th?
