Jokes aside ... if it can reduce the number of single-use masks disposed daily, I'm all for it.

I have a reusable one .. but it is not close to this one. Just cotton layers with a piece of filter paper that I replace once a week.

Easy to complete BUT ......................... if you have a child born after 2008 the DOB info cannot be entered correctly. Then if you try to delete the entry it does not allow you to proceed to register. Doesn't mention this before you start. HOWEVER .... they do give a reference number to use, BUT .................... no number to call.

Civil Servants, got to love their dedication to NOT serving the people.
Or you could have read the second page of the website where they say :

Eligibility: All holders of a valid Hong Kong Identity Card are eligible for obtaining CuMask+â„¢ for free. One CuMask+â„¢ each, except babies and infants.
Students in primary schools and kindergartens will receive child- and child (small)-sized CuMask+â„¢ later through the schools they are studying in. No online registration is required. (Note: the system does not accept registration of persons born on or after 1 January 2009.)

Very smooth registration process. Just a shame that you can’t choose mask sizes. Quite a few people with smaller faces I know wear kid size masks.

It seemed to. I registered this morning and only waited a few seconds in a "queue".
