    A 16-year-old suspected of "conspiracy to incite subversion" was ... granted bail. Kinda.

    Perhaps the merciful serial convictioner Wan-tang Lee (aka "Alex" ; HKU class of '89) has come up with an ingenious new legal precept for Xianggang SAR where a "suspect" can in effect be incarcerated under home arrest while an extended circle of family and associates are tied with the same leash. Lest any of them gets the idea of attempting to "leave home safe"...
