Elections were due in Dec, rice bags and buses were ready, couldnt afford to spread panic before that or piss them off by encouraging/forcing to do something against their will...

None of the above? Or at least not as pertinent as these graphics.

*I assume we are talking of risk of hospitalisation, since if by definition spread is “uncontrollable”, then risk of infection, logically speaking, must be irrelevant.
oh god, a 3D pie char, they went for the worst way to visualize data, incredible.

They can always re-purpose the beds in Expo. There's like 500 or 1000 there innit?

And oh, Pennys Bay too. Another 1000+ rooms there.

Perhaps if they stopped putting people who are not sick but testing positive in hospital, they'd have more beds available for those who actually need them.

But as said above they don't need to be in hospital.

I got (rather unnecessarily) referred to a cardiologist recently off the back of my annual health check and the first thing he wanted to know was my vaccination history. They really do seem to believe that myocarditis is a common side effect.

Certainly all the more uncommon in the statistics if people regularly dismiss their specialists investigating.

Gets really confusing when people can’t decide between preferring active/overtreatment or conservative/do no harm medical professionals. Personally I associate the Hippocratic oath with the latter rather than ideology.
