Thanks for the link. But even so, that was back in March. Data since then has shown vaccines are generally safe for the elderly. The government, doctors and healthcare sector in general has done a far from adequate job in senting the message out that vaccines are safe and necessary for the elderly.

Elections were due in Dec, rice bags and buses were ready, couldnt afford to spread panic before that or piss them off by encouraging/forcing to do something against their will...
not sure which thread this belongs
Don't get sick.... Hong Kong Hospital occupancy (adults) exceeds 100% (again) the standard reports:

Perhaps if they stopped putting people who are not sick but testing positive in hospital, they'd have more beds available for those who actually need them.
I got (rather unnecessarily) referred to a cardiologist recently off the back of my annual health check and the first thing he wanted to know was my vaccination history. They really do seem to believe that myocarditis is a common side effect.
Certainly all the more uncommon in the statistics if people regularly dismiss their specialists investigating.
Gets really confusing when people can’t decide between preferring active/overtreatment or conservative/do no harm medical professionals. Personally I associate the Hippocratic oath with the latter rather than ideology.
