Really, the principle is the same. Whenever someone comes up with a counter argument that remotely oppposes your view of China then trot out the lazy tired ad nauseum about them being paid by the CCP.
    Every debate ends like this.
Don't people only get accussed of being 50 centers after repeated use of the wumao style tactics rather than objecting to the actual argument being proposed. Therefore it would appear to be different. Anyway enough of these distracting off-topic discussions otherwise one of us might get accused of being a 50-center

It's amusing to see how this forecast is split up in 5 year intervals, good ole 5 year plans.

Your highness, the commoners have learned to speak English. They even have an English speaking advocate to represent them in court.

Then change the language of the Courts to French...

Your highness, the commoners now have a French speaking barrister

Then change the language of the courts to Latin......

Your highness, the people have the internet now.........

Then let them generate elitism and supremacist argument amongst themselves so they do not notice while we pick thier pockets..

Nope not in this forum. This appears to be the first line of attack which effectively renders any further debate pointless as it then appears to go for the person rather than meaningful discussions. Just look at this thread where a poster clearly is not in the Anti China admiration club and then inane comments are made about him/her using Wumao style tactics and waiting on Beijing orders...etc when clearly he/she had an alternative viewpoint.

I'm simply amused by the fact that some of you are more deadly with words than Americans are with guns..........................

That would be a totally valid argument if you were a new poster but your history is of coming on threads where China is mentioned, never once being critical of them and either defending them or trying to sidetrack the thread. Do you wonder then that you are not taken seriously?

This whole problem can be solved with diplomacy. China should buy some American made weapons, and annually increase the purchases up to about 50% of the defence budget.

The US will build a military air base in China and equip it with these..........

And what is wrong with that? Your whole rationale of debate is simply based on a history of how this person had disagreed with the "populist stand" in previous postings? How very shallow and narrow minded!

I am presenting an opinion as do some of you do, who incidentally also come onto these threads whenever China is mentioned and are always critical whatever they do. Instead of addressing the issues you then proceed to paint them as 50 centers, paid mouthpiece or brainwashed which effectively ends any meaningful debates whenever you can't find a counter argument. Why can't I have an opinion or bias that is different from yours.

Having credibility in any debate is whether you are prepared to have the courage of your convictions and not to follow like sheep and to just follow the populist stand.

Coming back to this thread, what is it that Creative had said that merits him/her to be met with the "Wumao" treatment. Tell me that?
