A fifty center is someone paid by the powers up north to post on internet forums to disrupt any criticism of China. The name comes from the amount they are supposedly paid per post. HKITperson is thought by many to be our resident fifty center based on his posting history.
Personally I do not think China or the CCP are evil but to put them above any criticism is blatantly mad or deluded. I know of no government in that position.
Our US specialists in discrediting political dissent are acid tongued TV stars paid on average $5 million a year. Others are pro writers paid by super wealthy political organizations and think tanks. Some are US government agents between assignments. Your problem seems pretty minor in comparison.
However, the US govt has lost control of information, and they know it. The people are winning and a whole new generation of Americans is alert and enlightened to the evil in big government.
So what do you think of my suggestion that China buy US weapons. Would that not end the Pacific Islands disputes? I know that it will never happen in reality, but the theory puts the whole thing in proper perspective. Does it not?
Selling arms to dictatorships has long been a habit of the US, and the UK and Russia and China, and there is no evidence it helps world peace quite the opposite
Japan, S. Korea and the Pillipines are not dictatorships? They are "allies" (weapons customers) of the US. To justify maximum expenditures requires political turmoil and military stand offs. If China also became an "ally" then a new bogeyman would be found, and the islands disputes would be settled by diplomacy.
If I am not mistaken Libya, Iran and Syria were also customers and that was not too succesful. Just selling weapons does not lead to diplomacy. Your theory that there are only disputes because one side is being supplied by the USA is IMO false. I am sure whatever the position of the USA the SE asian states would still have issues with Chinas territorial expansion. Does the USA supply Vietnam?
Those countries had regime changes and stopped buying US weapons decades ago. Not only that, they attacked the US dollar reserve currency status. Iran by pricing it's oil in gold and anything else but the US petro dollar, and Lybia with the African gold dinar. US attemps to justify war with Syria are because Iran has a defense treaty with Syria. Syria is the back door to war with Iran.
How can you rationally relate anything in that to the Pacific Islands disputes? or any of China's potential border disputes?
I am not. I am saying that the sale of arms is not the reason for everything. Are you really saying that Chinas disputes with almost all its neighbours (Japan, Taiwan, Phils, Vietnam, Brunei, India) would all be resolved if the USA ceased to exist?
