Taiwan, the self-governed island China claims as its territory

One U.S. business community person told Reuters the Mintz Group incident sent a "remarkable signal" that Beijing wants foreign money and technology but that it won't still accept credible U̶.̶S̶.̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶m̶s̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶d̶u̶c̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ due diligence on Chinese partners or the business environment. Red alerts should be going off in all boardrooms right now about risks in China being unchanged
Reuters couldn't write this but this isn't China-U.S thing at all cuz TBF it'll happen to any firm from any country, I'm certainly not gonna add to China's grandoise paranoia and obsession about U.S and make this sound like a thing abt U.S ;p

China has gotten worse with economic power and globalization. I don't rem them ever being so obnoxious and dislikable ever before compared to recent years. Internet anonymity is like money is like alcohol, it doesn't change your personality, it only amplifies and reveals.

China has said it welcomes foreign trade and investment but stressed that security comes before development
Ya ya, I get it. Also suddenly seeing this rhetoric more than usual recently:

It is imperative that the U.S. abandon its unreasonable acts of containment and suppression of China..return to the more positive and practical China policy..

Foreign Minister Qin Gang urged the U.S. to abandon its zero-sum mentality and stop containing and suppressing China through unfair means
Shitty time to vague China, what exactly does this mean? No, honestly I want to know. What more positive and practical policy did the U.S. used to have that's diff from now? No real victims in country power play but one word, DARVO: Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim & Offender.

Loosing money on high speed rail - but...

“Rail projects in these remote border areas will definitely lose money, but for a vast country with so many neighbours, we also need them to move troops or materiel rapidly because of defence needs.”

Surely nationalization ruined the MG brand.
