Will China become a rogue nation?

Some suggest things are not looking pretty in the Mainland.

China currently engages with the rest of the world but it is becoming more unpredictable.

Will China continue to slide under the Xi leadership and end up a rogue nation not staring Tom Cruise?

I liked it better when you posted links and graphs...your last two posts beg questions rather than answers...

Apologies but a serious question. Hopefully China will stay engaged in the normal realms of global politics but it is pushing the boundaries in some of the geo-political scenes. Just feels a bit off. Could be wrong and happy for some analysis showing a politically rational approach. Unfortunately some of the posters that visit this forum from time to time don't really add value and end up with distracting comments or what feels like plain old propaganda. Quite low quality discussions compared to most regulars on here.

Again it would be good to hear some real positive news about China.

Yeah...I was about to say that...there's a dozen or so rogue nations in the world right now...China, North Korea, Russia, USA, Iran, ISIS...etc...

It has surely not been a rogue nation for the last 20 years. A gradual opening up has led it to be a key cog in the global supply chain and it's softish approach to diplomacy has been a positive.

The good news about the Chinese economy is that we all know it is going downhill. It is a controlled burn, so to speak. It shouldn't catch anyone off guard like the 2008 financial crisis did.....

The British Queen wasn't so keen on the Chinese President's visit...

Given her ability never to allow comments to become public this is perhaps a deliberate snub of the worst kind. Accusing a fellow head of state of not having manners.
