Interesting to see how Tencent, Meituan, Alibaba are getting dragged down as well - thought they had been through the ringer. Tencent and Meituan don't even have us listings.
If the VIE structure was declared illegal I wonder how it would play out for baba.

Meituan re-entering ride hailing - hopefully not using their fleet of food delivery vehicles....a cheaper service launched in March 2020 targeting younger users in smaller cities that was not removed from Chinese app stores.

If the Didi owners suddenly brought up the stocks while they are low, having made gains during the listing, I'm sure there would be an investigation.
The board would deny withholding any information. The Chinese government would deny any wrongdoing. Investors will realised they've been played.
