    US-China Rivalry

The two countries are competing on many fronts: ideological, geopolitical, diplomatic, military, technology, cybersecurity, trade, financial & economic, territorial, etc.

    Here are two background articles

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China%...ates_relations

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Cold_War

Hopefully, the two sides can find a way to co-exist peacefully in the 21st Century.

During the Cold War between the West and the Soviet, there was almost no trade between the 2 camps, and basically only an ideological conflict.

The global economy has become globalized since then, and China has a lot of economic and trade relations with the Western world and other parts of the world, so it can be said that the problems are much more complicated than during the Cold War. And I think the world is more dangerous now than it was then.

The G2 matters much more than the G8, the G20, AUKUS, the Quad, ASEAN, APEC or any other multilateral acronym .

Heavy defense spending defeated communism and helped create the Internet. So cold wars have that going for them, which is nice.
