The Shanghai authorities’ plan to achieve social clearance has been frustrated. On Monday, 58 confirmed cases were found outside the quarantine and control area. This news disappointed many Shanghainese. Almost at the same time, the absurd incident that a living person was almost cremated in Putuo District, Shanghai, aroused public anger.

I wonder if anyone has been cremated who was still alive, but was unfortunately not noticed by the cremation workers before being put into the oven.

This kind of fear (of being buried alive) has led to many fascinating inventions for notifying people outside of the coffin that you aren't quite dead yet...

Looks like they are going to stick with dynamic zero.

Practice has proven that our prevention and control policy is determined by the nature and purpose of the Party, our prevention and control policies can stand the test of history, and our prevention and control measures are scientific and effective. We have won the battle to defend Wuhan, and we will certainly be able to win the battle to defend Shanghai.

Orwell wasn’t that wide of the mark was he? This and Russian state media covering all the glorious victories.

I can’t help thinking there’s a slow pressure cooker building, more so In China rather than Russia. I don’t know when or even if it will explode but If it did how would China cope with billions of street protestors?

This is also another example of double standards in the world. Sanctions against Russia and its energy supplies. China is heavily reliant on exports. Cancel outstanding orders and stop ordering and they might have to have a rethink. Dynamic zero is having a massive effect on global supplies whether it is a new bed or car parts etc.
