    Macau Lockdown...

The Chief Executive of Macau, Ho Iat Seng, issued an instruction stating that in order to prevent the spread of the virus, from 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, all restaurants, beverage establishments and eating establishments will stop providing services for the public to eat and drink in the relevant venues, except for takeaway services. Close all cinemas, theatres, massage parlors, beauty salons, karaoke, bars, nightclubs, barber shops and swimming pools.
And people thought we had it tough here ..

I’ll bet our new CE is thanking his lucky stars at the get out of jail card he has been given before he even starts. He has to change nothing for weeks and still looks good in comparison to our neighbours

Hmm, Chinese coworker says the list doesn't include casinos. Covid wouldn't DARE rear its ugly head in a Macau casino...

And there was this unfortunate case of hotel guests who scored some complementary stay and tests..

A hotel in Macau was locked down on Tuesday in view of the emergence of Covid-19 cases there.

Some 700 people are reported to be inside the Fortuna Hotel.

Authorities said those under lock down will be required to do three PCR tests and four rapid antigen tests in the coming week.

Footage obtained by broadcaster TDM showed police officers in protective gear sealing off the hotel to prevent people from entering or leaving.

Yeah schools closed, casinos open. They have actually managed to out-HK Hong Kong with that gem.
