All the local channels here covering it, police all outside the Grand Hyatt in Xinyi, so seems to the hotel. On commercial break now, they went into the airport, wondering if they are having a covid test before meeting the president tomorrow (too embarrassing if everyone ends up with covid after this visit).

Playing with fire! Now the Chinese are pissed. They have closed civilian airspace to do some live fire drills, rolling amphibious tanks along Fujian beaches, and banned the import of Taiwanese bear biscuits!
