Responding to media inquiry, a university spokesman said the university decided to call for police assistance after persons involved in the incident failed to identify themselves as students, nor did they specify the reason for their actions.
Police officers who responded to the scene confirmed their identities as students, while the students later left the scene on their own account, the spokesman added.

Different from what was said earlier that they were blurring the crowds out. As the sports journalist in another twweet posted here said.
- China TV pays for additional in stadium and on pitch camera feeds
- Broadcasts are 30 second delayed in China
- At most or all major events China TV avoids crowd shots as they tend to attract Tibet protestors
- Does not seem much different here compared to previous years.
- May be some mask less shots got through during ceremonies
