Different from what was said earlier that they were blurring the crowds out. As the sports journalist in another twweet posted here said.
- China TV pays for additional in stadium and on pitch camera feeds
- Broadcasts are 30 second delayed in China
- At most or all major events China TV avoids crowd shots as they tend to attract Tibet protestors
- Does not seem much different here compared to previous years.
- May be some mask less shots got through during ceremonies

I mean the logical next step would be to actually loosen covid measures. But I guess logic doesn't exist.
Are they actually genuinely worried about the number of deaths that could happen in China or is this more of a control thing?
At this point everyone is just confused and fed up.
