    Have you never been to China despite living here for more than a decade? You can now get from Central to Shenzhen in an hour with the East Rail Line.

    I met HK locals who lived their whole life in HK and never entered Mainland.

    Will go to Mainland in summer or autumn, Shanghai, Hangzhou etc.

    What about Macao? Is it possible now to do a daytrip from HK?

    Yes you can go Macau now

    And if you stay at least one night your return ferry is free

    I find that hard to believe. Do they hate the mainland that much? They are also a dying breed since very soon, every secondary school student in Hong Kong will be required to take a mandatory study tour to the mainland.
