China doesn't want foreigners, foreign visitors, foreign business or foreign investment anymore. Make of that what you will for the future. But it's obvious most foreigners are hesitant to even set foot there anymore. I have several American friends who vehemently declined going as they don't feel welcome, let alone safe anymore. That includes Hong Kong for them now even.
