The Olympics - I'm so disappointed in Hong Kong

I thought I had all the goodies Hong Kong's TV had to offer....I've got all the local channels plus some additional channels through my buildiing's network and I've got NOW Broadband with a ton of channels.

But why the heck can't I see the Olympics!!?? Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems that the Olympics are only being broadcast on Cable TV, so if you're a NOW Broadband subscriber or only get local channels through an antenna, you're SOL?

One sees pictures of people from Nigeria crowded around a communal TV watching this global event, but here in Hong Kong I'm limited to recaps on ESPN? I'm so disappointed.

Is there a set schedule for the Olympics? Like - when will the female figure skating long program be on?

Don't complain too much... the summer olympics coverage in 2004 wasn't a whole lot better. Call it a massive stereotype but HK people as whole care a whole lot more about shopping than their sport...

I 'm massively disappointed too, thought HK would clean up in sports like curling, ice hockey, taboggan run and skiing given all the training facilities here. Did HK even win a single gold?
