Update: Airline Staff Call for Action

My cathay pilot friend says this is fake news. Couldn't find it anywhere on their system.

No one says or states it was posted on their system, please read before you label something "fake news" out of nowhere.

Sorry I jumped the gun. He checked the internal news, asked friends, colleagues, associates. No has heard anything related to this.

I would guess that it’s mostly ground staff calling for the strike?

Looks like Occupy Central 2014 again.Tourism number in HK will fall like the drop in 2014.
Bad for the already troubled economy.

That would make sense, I just thought it was interesting he hadn't heard about it at all. He's in HK quite a bit and knows more than just flight crew folks. It's a big company, so obviously it's only 1 source.

There's 34,000 cops in Hong Kong, so what are the other 29,000 going to do?

The pilots' union may be above these menial issues, but even if only part of the ground staff or cabin crew "catch the flu/drift" the entire system starts wobbling or might even grind to a halt.

Can you stop posting utter BS please? Even the government figures during Occupy showed retail figures were up during those months of Occupy.
