    The article says the crowd was 240k and 800k signed the online petition. The petition has made the rounds on my Wechat and can be signed by anyone without verifying HK phone number or ID etc, so we can all guess where the 800k "supporters" are coming from.

    On Sunday afternoon, two fleets of fishing boats sailed through Victoria Harbour in a two-hour sea parade organized by the Hong Kong Fishermen Consortium, displaying banners with slogans in support of the bill.
    I was back and forth to Central on Sunday afternoon through the harbor on the ferry- I missed the sea parade...
