Court urged to stop ID-less cops going on duty
A 73-year-old who says he was not a extradition bill protester but was at a park nearby when some Hong Kong police officers threatened him. But he says he can't file a complaint over this as the officers didn't have their ID on them.
The Secretary for Security, John Lee, had earlier said that the special tactical team’s uniform don’t have room to displace officers’ ID. But photographs of the unit just days before the June 12 clashes clearly showed some officers had displayed their ID before.
