    2020 Elections - general questions

    Hello

Is there a list of 2020 elections and then corresponding web sites where I can do research on candidates?

    Yep

All the power of Legco has been removed. Article 68 is no longer needed.

Same people that made the DC one:
    https://legco2020.com/

And you can always check out the LegCo 2020 thread in the pandemics and politics subforum, some info about potential candidates have been posted there.

@MatthieuTofu are there "nobody" backup candidates when all the known pandems/pro-self-determination get banned?

The pro democracy camp were planning primaries a la Hong Kongaise (not sure if this is still the plan), meaning that they would field more candidates than necessary and the less popular ones would suspend their campaign a week or so before the election. This plan may seem like a mess especially if people don’t get the message on who NOT to vote for and waste their votes, but in terms of disqualifications it ensures that there are still candidates to vote for.
