As far as I know there are no longer betting slips for mark 6 that you fill out yourself, you can get lucky dip at the counter (if open), otherwise you must open an account to make your own selection.
hi all - i felt inspired to give it a go and get a ticket. --> not possible at the moment due to covid. Only online, and no, you cannot open an online account at the moment until further notice.
so save yourself the time in case you want to drop by any counters.
[and don't gamble your life away]
i saw this as a sign at that counter office. ;-)
That's correct. Talked to 3 different people there. They only allow / do withdrawals until further notice due to Covid.
Jackpot is now 45mil. If you blew all your funds buying bitcoin @ 40k or risky OTM weeklies, this may be your ticket to freedom.
54% of Lottery revenue goes on Prizes.
Jackpot just went from 36M to 45M.
=> Incremental revenue from last jackpot to next is/will be about 20 M ?
Nobody can buy a counter ticket so thats online accounts.
If average play is 100 HKD then we have 200K account holders all playing the lotto?
More probably, there are some playing with larger amounts.
Anyhow seems counter cash sales is not the main source of lotto revenue.
Never was. The major revenue is from the syndicates and not from retail (counter or account sales). This applies to both horse races and mark six as far I know.Anyhow seems counter cash sales is not the main source of lotto revenue.
Up to 50M+ today. Put your gamestop profits to good use folks!
Argh, so frustrating.
Anyone with a HKJC online account join a syndicate of two people (just me and that person)? I'll FPS $20 for one ticket, other person buys the ticket and keeps 5% of the payout? Screenshot the numbers that are selected here before the draw.
(Shri gets the 1% introduction commission)
Could someone please share the link of open branches again? I want to know if those previously posted are still open. Find their website difficult to navigate on a phone!
