And there we have the problem with much of the dog ownership in Hong Kong. Except these "children" can be dumped on the street when you get bored with them.

PLEASE do not misinterpret what i'm saying. i have NEVER advocated leaving everything to the helper. i MERELY said that if the helper is around to walk the dog during the day and the OWNER walks the dog the rest of the time, then there should not be a problem getting a dog.

would you rather leave the dog home alone during the day? no.

i ONLY EVER advocate pet ownership for people who REALLY are willing to take on ALL responsibilities of ownership.
