doggie approved beach hong kong island

    Hi,

Anyone know of any good beaches where to go with your dog on hong kong island that are not too close to the road and where the dog is actually allowed? I don't mind hiking a bit before getting to the beach.

    thanks.

    Hi there

I've written a book called "The Woof and Meow Guide to Hong Kong" that has all the information dog and cat owners could possibly want, including details of dog friendly beaches.

The new edition will be available from 25 October but until then you can preorder online and get a 12% discount and free shipping.

Why is it so important to bring your dog on the beach?

Some dogs like to swim. And there is space to throw things and allow the dog to run around. I can't figure out why you'd ask actually!!!!

Not sure about beaches on HK Island, but if you don't mind the commute- on Lamma, Lantau or most outlying islands, you can see dogs happily roaming about here and there, not to mention on the beaches.
