Hello,

I have gone through some posts on pets but they are old threads.

Would anyone know if Parkview and Ricou allow pets for short stay? Around 2months or less? I have heard Parkview has pet friendly units but are very very limited.

I'm looking for a place for a friend, somewhere in the southside that allows pets! Any other places near there?

Are you talking about the Parkview serviced apartments? If so, NO pets allowed. Pets are, however, definitely allowed in the other units, but expect it would be difficult to lease one for only a couple months.

Not sure about other places. Maybe try calling the Oriental Hotel in Stanley. They have some decent sized service apartments and are in a dog-friendly area.

Yes the parkview serviced apartment. Are other units unfurnished? Parkview didn't mention that, just that they do have units for pets and most of the time its taken and they knew I was referring to the serviced ones. They mentioned a very limited number and i mean limited units for pets.


Oriental, Ricou and Lily ( the furnished serviced ones don't allow pets)

guess southside is out of the question , have to find an alternative place or a pet hotel.

All of the non-serviced apartments at Parkview permit pets, but it would be hard to find a landlord who will grant a short term lease. Most of the non-serviced apartments at PV are also unfurnished. Whoever you spoke with may have been confused as none of the apartments in the serviced apartment towers (1 and 2) permit pets, whether or not they are privately owned or owned by PV.

Have you tried contacting property agents that focus on expats or larger units? They may be able to find a short term place for you that allows dogs. A friend recently secured a 4 month lease (with a medium sized dog) at The Summit on Stubbs Road - very pricey though.

We were inquiring about serviced apartments and they mentioned they have but only 4- 5 units permit pets. We contacted directly through them.

Anyhow , change of plans and will stay somewhere else.
