    Pet hotel

Hi, anyone can recommed a nice and dog friendly pet hotel? I am thinking of going on holiday...and have to make sure that my poodle will have great time while I am on holidays.

Alternatively, is there any experienced dog lover can help to take care of him?

I've used Ferndale before and my dog came back in good spirits.

I've also used Kennel Van Dego http://www.kennelvandego.com and he also seemed fine after being here too. The only thing I didn't like was the pick up service - the van had no airconditioning and they were caged. It was in summer when he went here and considering it's at least an hour trip from my place to the kennel, I wasn't pleased about that.

When my dog was picked up by Ferndale's pick up service the van was airconditioned and my dog was just tied up in the back of the van, he seemed happier with this.

There is also DB Dog Dayz http://www.dbdogdayz.com/Page_1.html which is a more at home personalised service for your pet. I haven't used them, but heard good things about them.

    Hi,

Anyone tried (1) DBdogdayz and (2) Ferndale? Any recommendation? Thanks.

Tommy and Stacy who operate Ferndale have been operating in the Sai Kung country park for a few years now.

They are genuinely pet people, if you have ever had the pleasure of having a beer and sharing a few Victoria Barracks stories at their family home, you quickly realise what they are about..

Good honest hard working British folk, who will take good care of your dog.
