    Wish I had a place large enough to suit cheese! If I did I would be asking (begging) the wife to adopt him. Chow Chows are are really nice breed but must point out they can be stubborn and loyal to one owner (similar to a Shar Pei).

    Although reading the thread I would imagine that Cheese would be thankful for the chance of a new life.

    Can't argue with the welfare argument but the Chow Chow coat can protect from the hotter weather too. Assuming they are groomed correctly to keep their coat clean there is no reason why a longer haired dog can not enjoy HK.

    The probable the difference between wtbhotia and the owner of a dog that suffers from skin conditions is care.

    Thanks for having the thought of adopting Cheese. I trust that he will have a better life and there will be someone who is willing to take good care of him.
