    Guinea pig boarding

    A speculative question for now...

We're looking at getting a guinea pig or two - mainly as my compromise to defuse constant demands for a cat - and I think we've got most of the issues sorted, except what to do with it/them when we travel. We tend to travel relatively often - couple of week+ trips per year, plus a few weekends - and obviously we'd want to find somewhere safe and reliable to leave the wee beasties while we're away. We've asked a few friends, and not really found anyone interested in helping - unfortunately, there seems to be a general feeling around HK that small rodents are pretty much all 'rats'

    Any thoughts?

Oh, and we're looking at getting it/them from the SPCA, who apparently don't do boarding for small animals, only cats/dogs.

Try Pets Central In North Point.
I think they do small animals as well as cats and dogs in their bording section.

    Hmm, oops, didn't reply...

We've put off the pet thing for now - but I did give Pets Central a call, and they do indeed do small animal boarding - thanks for the suggestion!
