I'm sure there are hiking routes, but the tunnel is not one of them.

That's right you didn't, so if you are thinking any other way to walk (i.e., hike) across from DB to Sunny Bay, Tung Chung or wherever, HowardCoombs has ruled it out.

dog owners in db use the ferry to transport their animals. depending on the number of people, cheaper than using the VIP service.

Thank you guys...I was trying to get my pooch from Happy Valley to Sunny Bay in an economic way...Direct taxi is too expensive so I was thinking of ferry+DB taxi...It seems thats also too expensive.

Pooch will have to stay home this time...

what size pooch are we talking about, if it can fit in a dog carrier trolley bag then you shouldn't have a problem taking it on the bus, now if its the size of a golden retriever then the pooch will have to stay home

Yes, I forgot about this. I have seen dog-owners bring their pedigree chums aboard in a pet carrier. Surprisingly well-disciplined pooches, they don't make a sound.

HC: taxi to central then ferry. They dont charge extra for dogs on ferry.

I thought HC was hoping to do a circuit: HK > Ferry > DB > Bus > Sunny Bay........what am I on about?
