The younger (4 months to 2 years) purebreds (including labs and goldens) tend to get adopted pretty quickly from Hong Kong Dog Rescue, but we do get them in all the time (just about weekly). Give the dog rescue a call, tell them what you are looking for and they can call you when one comes in.

while searching for my beagle breeder, a golden retriever breeder pop up, ,

try searching for, Breeder, kennel, puppy , for sale , and tick on the google Page from hong kong only ..

Just off the top of my head i think the breeder website call something .. like Golden dream ( BUT dont quote me on that ) most of the breeder website i found for HK are in the form of blogger.
i've gave up trying to find my beagle pup and now just waiting to get one from oversea when we return to aus later this year.

Some puppy could be very expensive too if you go directly to the show dog breeder but then again its HK, i'm not sure of the quality of their puppy. so Do visit the breeder and decided it for urself ..

There's also other website like hkpet.net all in chinese but you can sort of work out which dog is for sale and which is for adoption , again use your good judgement.

good luck hope you find your puppy

I believe the HKDR has 3 new golden retrievers. They are beautiful dogs and in need of a loving home - why don't you think about it?

chocolatekisses: there is a beagle up for adoption at PALS - Animal Rescue - Pet Adoption
It looks like a beautiful puppy!

I find it hard to believe that people think any organisation keeps a stock of golden retriever puppies. Yes, we do get them at HKDR but they are quickly adopted by those who have their name on a waiting list. But most people who would even consider buying from a pet shop or breeder (and they are the same) would be rejected by HKDR as adopters.

    Hi,

I found this retriever puppy while I was looking for a young dog on the internet.
I don't know if its still available, but you could try giving them a call.
Its a 1 month old girl, in Yuen Long.

The puppy described is a mongrel puppy girl, not a retriever, although it does look like one.

I got a mongrel pup from HKDR a few months ago. Sometimes drives me crazy being a normal active pup but most of the time provides me with loads of fun. They are easy to maintain and easy to train (well, sort of). Do consider rescuing some of the mongrel pups!!

Fiona in HKG and red dragon like this.
