There are amazing setups in the shops for dsplays- the greenest tanks you will ever see. Specialist lights, CO2 injection systems, vast selection of plants, shrimp species- the mother load. I'm getting enthused even thinking about it. I haven't had a tank for a few years due to housing changes but might have to make space for one now.

There are all sorts of brands of equipment available- European, US, Japanese, and Chinese. You will have no issues sourcing things you understand. It sounds like you have much more experience than me and will be in fish nerd heaven!

You're making me far too excited. Would anyone fancy a day of fish nerding & touring round goldfish street in the next week or two?

. Hi there, yes I would be interested in looking around Goldfish Street with you, would like to have a look at some Bettas in particular . I am in UK on holiday till 22 Jan though. I have some filter material you can have, is from a shrimp tank, so not sure if would be suitable for you?! (Excuse my ignorance). Feel free to PM me.

Might have a cheap tank and equipment if you are interested as leaving HK in March.
PM me if you want the tank/equipment/fish specs.

    Repair scratches on acrylic tank

    Hi,

Do any of you guys use acrylic tanks? I`m looking for a product called Novus plastic polish . It can be used to removed scratches and polish up acrylic tanks. Has anybody seen this in any aquarium shops in HK?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Can some one advise me on where I can get the discus fish cheaply? Yes, It is available in Goldfish market but they are either too expensive or low quality with too much peppering on them. Any other alternatives? especially can I get from the local hobbyists ? Appreciate your help.
