Help?! what's the best animal shelter in HK?!

This cat mama gave birth to few kittens last week, I wanna call one of the animal shelter association to come and pick them up, googled, results that came up:

    -SPCA
    -LAP
    -CAT SOCIETY
    -PAWS GUARDIAN

Please advice in terms of which one got the best amenities, donations, volunteers, Foster and adoption programs. I just want them to get the best.

SPCA has the most resources and is the most likely (my guess) to come out and get them, the other ones may not have that kind of staff and vehicles...

I hope you’re going to look after them for at least six weeks if they still have their mother. Then after that 100 per cent SPCA for me.

I may be interested in taken a weaned one directly off your hands. No promises as I already have three. This thread is no good without kitten pictures.

I don't wanna put any pics as the forum moderators would think I'm trying to advertise. Yes I'm keeping them in with their mama and taking care of them for now. I guess SPCA is the way to go

Is this your own cat or a street cat?

I don't think anyone would mind ... putting up photos / specs of an apartment or a car and wondering where to advertise is in another league compared to giving away kittens.

Please socialize the heck out of the kittens so that they are adoptable, street kittens that don't get socialized are not human-friendly and thus unadoptable. Pet them a lot, handle them a lot...if it's too much for you (it's a lot of work) they have volunteers who will do it- also they can give you advice and maybe some volunteer helpers. Thanks for taking them in, if not socialized they are almost doomed to be feral for life...I have had a couple of former ferals and they never do quite feel the same level of comfort with humans as domestic housecats...

How are you getting on with the kittens? like MA in Peng Chau I have fostered many cats over the years. If I get the mother and kittens well before 4 weeks I could sometimes get them socialised. Any older and they were too set in their feral ways. Often the difficulty is the mother and if she is feral it is hard to even get near the kittens.

    good luck
