50+ more parks are now "pet-friendly"

Pet-friendly is in quotes as I am sure your pet boa constrictor will not be accepted, even if its on a leash.

The Hong Kong government announced on Thursday that more than 50 Inclusive Parks for Pets will be opened in various districts starting June 3, bringing the total number of pet-friendly parks in the city to over 170.

A government spokesman said the aim of Inclusive Parks for Pets is to enable members of the public who bring their pets into existing parks to use park facilities together in an inclusive environment, thereby promoting exchanges and integration in the community.

Most of those "parks" are just a plot of concrete. If there is any grass, or greenery, there's definitely a sign forbidding entry to said grass/greenery. Benches are not provided.

That's great news! I will finally have the chance to take my kid and dog to the nearby park simultaneously.
