Point is, a pet is for life. There is no argument against this. It is your responsibility for life. There are no excuses under any circumstances. I am very happy to enter a discussion with you on Humane Education but not on the terminology or on words.

I do not think any of us question that a pet SHOULD be for life. So should marriage. Sometimes the world does not work out the way we expected. Sometimes you just have to make the best of the divorce - and being hounded by people who know nothing about your circumstances is unlikely to improve an already difficult situation!
