    Any Aquarists or Reptile/Caudate Lovers?

I'm living in Hong Kong and although I know many other aquarists around the world (most on the internet), I'm interested in meeting anyone who keeps both fresh and saltwater fish, reefs, planted tanks, snakes, lizards, newts, you get the jist.

Anyone feel like starting a club? Anyone interested in going herping in Hong Kong? I just feel like I need to meet other keepers...

Right now I keep mantis shrimp, cuttlefish, terrariums, bettas, three species of newts, a corn snake and a ball python.

OMG! You've got mantis shrimp and cuttlefish!? Awesome! I used to have aquariums back in the States (last year anyway...), filled with black ghost knives, electric blue lobsters, bichirs, figure 8 puffers, dwarf puffers, and more.

It's been hard meeting other fish enthusiasts in HK due to language barrier...love to join the club tho!

Nice! Do you still keep anything now that you've moved?

How did you procure the cuttlefish? None of the shops in Mongkok seem to have them?

    Are they difficult to keep?

I got the cuttlefish from one of the marine shops on Tung Choi Street. Apparently they are said to be hard to keep, but in my opinion, as long as you are a steady reefer with some basic saltwater knowledge, and have a stable tank, you'll do fine with cuttles. They cost me $100 and $150 HK dollars respectively.

That's awesome! Been having the thought of keeping a tank here, with pipefish, blue spiny lobster, and couple other ones in mind....squid is up there as well. Which one did you get the cuttlefish from tho, out of curiosity?

I got them from Seug Loong. They carry pretty interesting stock most of the time.
