Can I bring my dog to Macau?

    Hello,

I have some family visiting this week and will go to Macau with them. The thing is that I would love to bring my little dog along with me, instead of letting her in Hong Kong. She is really tiny, and can be easily hidden inside a little bag.

I saw on the internet that Venitian hotel is pet friendly, so that should be fine. But I was wondering about the ferry, immigration, and entrance to casinos. Has anyone tried bringing his pet in Macau? Any advice?

    Thanks!

You can take her to Macau, no problem.

But she'll need to do 4 months in quarantine to get back to HK.

Don't risk smuggling her because if you are caught you may not get her back.

Better leave your little friend safe at home. I don't think the dog cares too much for hitting the casinos anyway.

Sorry for the late response, but thank you very much for your advice!

I finally let her stay in HK with my friend, where she was very happy. It would have been too risky with the quarantine!
