    Great Vet

Just wanted to post a quick message about Dr David Gething from Creature Comforts. He does house calls, which is great for our dog who get stressed when she has to go to the clinic. He did a very thorough check-up of our dog, asking how she's been, answering any questions we had and did all her injections as quickly as possible.

    Highly recommended!

I call on Dr. Gething for my dog, as well as have been to East Island Animal Hospital for an emergency on the weekend. Both are great.

Thanks for the update on him. I have seen many ads and was planning on using him sometime.

What are his charges like for house calls? The guys I use charge $1900 to get from MKK to TST which is a bit steep imo.

I'm not sure if it depends on location - we live on the Southside and he charges us $650 for the house call. Then depending on what she has (injections and the like), we also get a 10% discount on the total as we are regular (basically once a year) clients.

I also like that they send out reminders when your dog's vaccinations are due. I'd never remember otherwise!

Thanks for the recommendations! Dr David came over last night and was wonderful...my dogs loved him.

JaredHK, he charges $650 for the first dog and $320 for the 2nd, both fees include 1 vaccination, and there's also a 10% discount on the total. One of my dogs needed a heartworm shot as well ($400) and the other pup needed some meds, so all in for both of them cost around $1,600. Hope this helps!
