    MPF for a Singaporean?

    Good day to all,

The Japanese company which i working currently in Singapore is setting up a new company in HK and they plan to relocate me to HK.

Understand that HK has MPF scheme and foreigner can be exempted under certain condition.

I not able to find the information from the MPF's website...
Hope someone can share with me the condition or where i can find the information?

    Many thanks in advance!

I don't think foreigners are exempted from MPF except certain conditions. Here's the link:

It's not a lot of money deducted, the maximum amount to be deducted is HK$1,000 a month. Here's the link to the MPF Schemes Authority:

Besides, you can take the money out of MPF if you leave HK.

Essentially if you are a non-permanent resident and can show that you continue to invest in a pension scheme of some sort in another country then you don't have to pay MPF. The definition of "pension scheme" seems to be fairly relaxed - it certainly doesn't have to be a Government-run or approved scheme - I have a long-term commercial offshore savings plan and that seems to be sufficient.
