    dangerous juicer,

I bought two 'moulinex juicemachine's at the same time at fortress, just over 2 years ago, they were working fine at the start but occasionally they grind the shuttle cover, at the bottom of the chute, or the feeding base that the blade rests on, leaving pieces of plastic mixed in the juice. hazardous. l went up to the service department about 5 times, each time to get it 'sorted'
each time the juicers were ok for a while but they now always grinds the shuttle cover chute now, who should I complain to as Moulinex shouldn't be selling such dangerous juicers. Both juicers are like that.

Yep, out of all the electric kitchen appliances we have had/have, the Moulinex food processor is the one that leaked live current through the mixers handle every now and again. It ended up in HK's landfill..

Never had any issues with any of our Kenwood, Kitchenaid, or our higher end Sunbeam appliances, all going strong after years of dependable use, but they do cost a fair deal more initially, but more cost effective/safer over the long haul. Lets not forget to mention that they work shed loads better by having a lot more grunt and tougher internal parts, structurally a lot more robust.

The old adage applies, you get what you pay for..

If you are looking for a replacement juicer, I would highly recommend the Kenwood JE 750 or the JE 810 which cost between $1100 - $1400. We have had our JE750 for 3 years, it has been excellent. .

For a Juicer at the top end :

Green Star and Green Power Twin Gear Juicers, GreenStar and GreenPower Juicer Manufacturer

After my first juicer went bad , I bought the Greenstar. It was expensive at about 300usd , but it has lasted more than 9 years, still going strong with daily use. Additionally this has twin slow rotating gears to extract juice specialized feature to this model.
