It never ceases to amaze me that this issue is such a problem in the USA. Most other countries you just ask for a postal redirect and pay a small fee!

LOL - yes actually. True story - when I worked for a electricity generation company in the UK we "paired" with a similar one in the USA. They did a "staff swap" for a few weeks ... in my company it was big news - there was a huge competition for the guy who got an (effectively free holiday) to the USA. When the guy from the USA arrive, obviously we were keen to know how he had qualified ..... "oh I was the only guy who had a passport" was the answer!!!!
