No - the same ratios apply, but it is really quite unusual for people to live on their own in HK.
By the way, if, by deduction, your salary will be below HK$20K per month, are you confident that you will be able to get an Employment Visa? The Immigration Department isn't too happy about giving low-end IT jobs to foreigners.

It's not really all that bad, I tend to be pretty conservative when specing out costs and expenses.
