The view of the island from kowloon side. Especially at night. It still makes me stop for a second even after all these years. Just stunning.

OK, only little things. Another vote for Octopus. The fact that I can climb to the highest peak, look down at all the mayhem that is surely going on in the urban centre, yet neither feel, hear nor smell the mass of humanity. Pick your own live seafood to eat in Po Toi O. Foot massages. Your choice of $150 or $15 won ton noodles.

Being able to buy a pint bottle of Honey Dew and then hop on the Lantau ferry from Central - its what I did yesterday afternoon after bunking off from work. I dont like the DB ferry nor any of the other fast ferries. I still enjoy the slow breezy upper decks of the old slow ones. They are disappearing but at least we still have a few around....

Well, if you don't like the other routes, you know where route 7 is.

    The view from my study
    Hot weather
Electric that never cuts off (not that I have seen in my apt)
Lack of traffic and good road manners
    Golden in SSP

Soooo many more good things about HK

Being able to spend the morning in our lovely, almost empty outdoor pool.

I'm going to miss Fri evenings where a good 50% of the passengers are having a cheeky drink on the way home (the atmosphere is pretty "jolly"). I actually really like the DB ferry....free wifi, you can eat and drink on board, decent seats,.....it's been a great way to commute and it's actually one of the things I'll miss most about HK.
    Magners??? Pfftt

Stuck in Bristol on a bank holiday and everywhere was shut apart from sainsburys and Tesco and the local cafe run by poles.

Even the petrol stations ran out of fuel.

Total opposite to lovely HK where everything is open.
