    Euro 2008

    Evening all,

Been away from HK now for some 3 weeks and haven't had he time to plan the most important event of this summer properly. Anyone know where they will show the games, all respectable bars? Especially interested in following those games of the team that most likely will win the tournament (talking bout Sweden of course) ...

Any other Swedish in HK planning to watch this?

    Go Larsson and Ibrahimovic!

think we should arrange a meet for sat night so we can gather and have beers to celebrate England's normal chance of winning the competition (NON as we're not in it)

Well if anyone wants to get together, have beers and watch some footy this sat night let us know

I know that Typhoon will be showing the German games in the middle of the night as the manager apparently is a German. Typhoon is a bar on Lockhart Road in Wanchai.

Game Times Shown are Austria Times:

1800 hours or 6 pm in Austria is 12 midnite in Hong Kong
2045 hours or 8:45 pm in Austria is 2:45 am in Hong Kong

If I have this right, Austria and Hong Kong are the same days as this schedule shows for the 6 pm games and the second game at 8:45 pm is in Hong Kong the next day. I am used to do the time conversions for North America not Europe.

Some of us are intending to meet up for the opening match tomorrow night.

Except, err, at this rate it might be in the middle of a black rain thunderstorm then.
