What have you based this on? In fact the wage of FDH is approx.HK$3000 or slightly more.

Many HK people enter the workforce with F5 at approx.HK$6000 to HK$7000. It is not unheard of for some uni graduates in HK entering the workforce in specific professions at these wages.

well, in case you were wondering, i have had about 20 applications and every single person that came was happy with the wage.

as it was, i got more than i expected and was able to choose someone that even had a degree in teaching from a foreign university. this was WAY beyond my expectations. they are MORE than happy with what was on offer.

Hot and dry, me likes a lot! Certainly wouldn't have that in Ireland!

Very nervous about this big change, but it's also very exciting. HK seems like a cool place to live.
You are both on the Working Holiday Visa?

You do know that you can only work for one employer for 3 months don't you?

erm, cough, there are easy ways around this, cough

I've heard whispers that some people (cough) use friends' companies, their own secondary companies, their accountants and other helpfuls.

Quite naughty and I doubt any of the upstanding citizens on here would ever do that.

and some people own more than one company. so, technically, you would be employed by company #1 for 3 months, then company #2 etc.
