We recently moved here with 4 adopted Chinese daughters. So far we've not had any issues and our kids have adjusted beautifully. I didn't really expect any, but I am still surprised at how easy going and accepting people are here. They go to ESF schools where there are so many different kids from all over the world. It's a great experience. One of the biggest positives has got to be the exposure to Cantonese and especially Mandarin in school. While they got some of this back home, twice weekly lessons during school is wonderful.
Feel free to email me directly if you'd like to talk more.
