Freelance writing - How much am I worth?

    Hallo!!

I'm a fresh grad and hoping to get some work. It sounds pretty difficult to get a job but I would still like to enquire about the market rate so I know what to expect =)

Appreciate if anyone can help on these !! =)

    1. Freelance writer-how much per page or per word?
    2. Entry-level writer
    3. Entry-level marcomm/corp comm/PR exec

For someone at entry-level, with a Bachelor's degree (with Hons).

    Thanks in advance!!

I believe most entry level positions are <10k these days.

Unless you have five plus years of proven experience and commercial referees, then you might hit 10 or 12k... just depends.

    plus

    hi,
i might just add that aside from the rather low entry level salaries, you'd be expected to work long hours including unpaid overtime on a regular basis. so your working week might look like: M-F 9am-8pm, Sat 9-1.

    woah ho!!!

er...ahem. I'm prepared to work long hours if I can learn alot and if working long hrs can still produce quality or quantity work... IF i can get a job, that is.

One tough bit will be the rent.

Of course, that will be when i DO get a job. hahaha!! Sigh. Well, in my 6mths out in the working world, I've realised one is to flow with life, not battle it upstream. Shall take it as it comes.
