    Getting rid of furniture

I recently moved to an apartment that is furnished.
There are a couple of things that I would like and need to get rid of.
I have tried carousell, giving away and selling. Crossroads don't come and collect stuff like this. Salvation army does not take furniture. IKEA does not take furniture atm but will do by April hopefully albeit for 200 for the first piece and 100 for the succeeding pieces to be taken away and you must buy furniture from them first.

Is there a way to get rid of my furniture? Can't I just take it to a dump somewhere without breaking the law?

I would appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Did you advertise in the Free Stuff section here on Geoexpat?

Lalamove and Gogovan will take it to public refuse collection point for a small fee. Or take it yourself.

There are plenty of rubbish collection points where you can dump it: go here and look for "Public Refuse Collection Point"

But first, please list it on this site. I'm sure someone would be willing to take it away if it's half decent.
